How many of us have one man — just one — who you know would take your call at 2 a.m.? Not your wife. Not your mother. A brother. Someone who gets you.

If you can’t nod your head, you’re not the only one. A lot of men are just like you. Our world trains men to go to work every day, come home every night, sit in the same pew every Sunday, and still not have anyone in your corner.

We won’t survive like this. That’s the crisis we’re actually fighting. So what to do about it?

Look to Christ. The Father gave him a mission, and the first thing he did was round up a brotherhood of men. Heroic Men believes every man needs a brotherhood.

So, we're doing something about it. It's called the Heroic Pledge. Here’s how it works:

1: Pray daily. Do it for thirty seconds, for real. 2: Connect weekly. Pick one man and talk to him — really talk — once a week. Brotherhood isn't a luxury. It's a lifeline. 3: Invite monthly. Once a month, ask one more man to take this same pledge.
